Vehicle Specification Fields

Every field you see on a model page is defined below — what it measures, its unit, and what it means for a buyer. Values that are missing are shown as "Not available" rather than estimated.

Field Unit What it measures What it means for a buyer
Length
length_mm
mm Overall vehicle length, bumper to bumper. Affects parking and manoeuvrability; longer cars usually offer more cabin space.
Width
width_mm
mm Overall body width. Affects cabin shoulder room and lane positioning.
Height
height_mm
mm Overall roof height. Affects headroom and clearance in low garages.
Wheelbase
wheelbase_mm
mm Distance between the front and rear axles. A longer wheelbase usually means more rear legroom and a more stable ride.
Curb weight
curb_weight_kg
kg Vehicle weight without passengers or cargo. Heavier vehicles typically use more energy.
Engine
engine
— Engine designation, e.g. displacement and aspiration. Indicates the combustion engine fitted to the trim.
Engine displacement
engine_displacement_cc
cc Swept volume of the engine cylinders. A rough proxy for engine output and fuel consumption.
Motor power
motor_power_kw
kW Peak output of the electric drive motor. Higher figures mean stronger electric acceleration.
Battery capacity
battery_capacity_kwh
kWh Usable energy stored in the traction battery. Higher capacity generally means longer electric range.
Range
range_km
km Electric or combined range on a test cycle. Real-world range varies with speed, load and temperature.
Fuel consumption
fuel_consumption_l100km
L/100 km Fuel used per 100 km. Lower is more economical to run.
Transmission
transmission
— Gearbox type, e.g. E-CVT, DCT, AT or CVT. Affects smoothness, efficiency and driving feel.
Drive type
drive_type
— Which wheels are powered: FWD, RWD or AWD. AWD aids traction; FWD is common and efficient.
Seats
seats
— Seating capacity. Confirms how many passengers the vehicle carries.
Cargo volume
cargo_l
L Boot volume. Higher volume suits family or hauling use.
Top speed
max_speed_kmh
km/h Maximum rated speed. A reference figure, not a target for legal driving.
0–100 km/h
acceleration_0_100_s
s Time to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. Lower figures mean quicker acceleration.
Charging
charging
— Charging capability, e.g. DC fast charging. Affects how quickly the battery can be recharged.

Related terms such as E-CVT, DCT, CLTC and kWh are defined in the glossary.
